Timothy Cassidy makes photographs full of wonder and complex emotion. His images are often ambiguously beautiful, grappling with the idea of place and the relationship between space and passage of time—between human presence and absence. Tim’s photographs are as conceptually rigorous as they are meticulously constructed and executed.
Tim honed his photographic skills during his 25 years in graphic design as an award-winning creative director. He studied fine art at Catholic University and photography at the International Center of Photography. In 2007, Tim began to focus solely on fine art photography and has exhibited in New York, Washington, DC and Ireland.
Tim lives in New York City and West Cork, Ireland with his wife and daughter.
